January and February can be some of the hardest months for honeybees. They are coming out of winter torpor and beginning to produce brood in anticipation of the spring honey flow, but nectar and pollen are scarce.

Join us Tuesday, February 10, 2015 for a presentation by TVBA Club re-founder and longtime beekeeper extraordinaire Dr. Alan Eynon as he presents, “Feed Your Bees”. This presentation will teach you everything you need to know about how and when to feed your bees in order to keep them happy, healthy and ready to produce.

The Q&A Session starts at 6:45. Come early to get your beekeeping questions answered by our more experienced members in a more informal setting. Also, we will have  Alan Eynon with our monthly “In the Hive” and Bob Richie with the “Bee Plant of the Month”.

All meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month and are free and open to the public. You’re encouraged to attend even if you don’t know anything about beekeeping–it’s a great chance to see what it’s all about!
