Q&A Session 6:45pm
The Point (at C. C. Young Campus)
4847 W. Lawther Dr, Dallas, TX
It’s that time of the year again when hives threaten to swarm. Last month you heard about one way to take population pressure off of you hives by making splits. This month join Russell Dittfurth as he discusses a variety of methods for swarm detection and prevention. Russell is the current president of the Collin County Hobby Beekeepers Association (cchba.org) and brings a wealth of experience to the talk.
The Q&A Session starts at 6:45. Come early to get your beekeeping questions answered by our more experienced members in a more informal setting. Also, we will have Alan Eynon with our monthly “In the Hive”.
All meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month and are free and open to the public. You’re encouraged to attend even if you don’t know anything about beekeeping–it’s a great chance to see what it’s all about!
