August Meeting: Honey Tasting

Past Event
August 9, 2016, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Join us for our annual honey tasting!honeytastingpic We will sample a variety of honey, discuss the range of flavors, and talk about ways to use honey when cooking. This meeting is always a crowd-pleaser, and you won’t want to miss it! If you have honey to share, please bring a small jarwith you to the meeting. The more varieties of honey we have, the more fun! No honey? No worries! Feel free to bring a small snack that pairs well with honey, such as cheese, mild crackers, or fruit, and get your taste buds ready!
PLUS we will have a few TV Bees T-shirts for sale; if you ordered a shirt, it has arrived! Elizabeth, Sharon, Dusty, Jim, Rob, and Mimi, please bring $20 cash or check to pick up your shirt. If you didn’t order a shirt but do want one, we have extra shirts in white or navy, so you can grab one at the meeting.

The Q&A Session starts at 6:45. Come early to get your beekeeping questions answered by our more experienced members in a more informal setting. Also, we will have our “Bee Plant of the Month” and Alan Eynon with our monthly “In the Hive” to refresh your memory of the beekeeping seasons. See you there!
